This collaboration aims to advance the development and commercialization of Pure Lithium’s cutting-edge lithium-selective, water-blocking membranes and next-generation lithium-conducting membranes.
Under the agreement, Saint-Gobain Ceramics will leverage its advanced R&D expertise and manufacturing capabilities to accelerate the production of Pure Lithium’s patent-pending membranes. These membranes simplify the process of producing lithium metal anodes from brine, streamlining a critical step in battery development. Additionally, Pure Lithium’s flexible lithium-conducting membranes serve as both solid electrolytes and separators, enhancing battery performance, durability, and sustainability.
