Tallinn, Estonia – March 27th, 2025. Skeleton Technologies, an Estonian company and European leader in high-power, fast-charging energy  storage for AI data centers, grid, transportation, automotive, and industrial applications, is proud to announce its inclusion in the prestigious list of the World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025, as compiled by TIME and data firm Statista.

Skeleton was ranked 30th out of 250 corporations globally and is the first European company in the Energy Storage & Distribution category. Skeleton is also the only supercapacitor manufacturer to be recognized in this global ranking.

Skeleton Technologies Ranking

“It is a great pleasure to be included in TIME Magazine’s World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025, especially as the first European company in the energy storage category and as the only supercapacitor manufacturer in the Energy Storage category.

This is a major recognition of our technological leadership and our team’s relentless work. We have made supercapacitors the key enabling technology in mission-critical applications, from stabilizing the German grid to supporting nuclear fusion or making AI data centres more energy-efficient while increasing their computing power.

Our solutions are the backbone of both the AI and the green energy revolution, and with several AI companies in this ranking, TIME also underlines these two revolutions are deeply intertwined,” said Taavi Madiberk, CEO and Co-founder of Skeleton Technologies.

The TIME World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025 is the publication’s first-ever global ranking of climate technology firms and was developed in collaboration with Statista, a respected data and analytics firm.

The selection process evaluated over 8,000 companies, with only 250 making the final list based on their positive environmental impact, financial strength, and innovation.

Other companies at the top of the list include Vermont-based battery-powered aircraft maker BETA Technologies, Switzerland’s carbon removal organization Climeworks, and Toronto-based AI mobility company Waabi.
